2008 Newmarket Heritage Festival featured loads of great eating
opportunities—brought to you by community groups and local Newmarket
eateries. In addition to the great community meals listed below,
there were also several
food booths at the festival as well. Community Meals

proceeds support local organizations. BEST DESSERT OF THE SEACOAST BAKE-OFFFriday, 7-9 pm Sample an amazing array of delectable treats brought to you by Seacoast-area eateries, organizations, and local chefs. Celebrities and food judges will award prizes to the most delicious entries. Bon appetit! Cost: Adults, $5; children 3-12: $3; under 3, free. All you can eat. Proceeds to benefit Project Graduation. Extreme Air Brunch
Sunday, 10-12 noon Quiche and pancakes, bacon and
sausage, muffins and more! Cost: Adults, $6;
children 3-12, $4; under 3, free. Proceeds to benefit
Extreme Air, New Hampshire's competition jump rope team. Main tent. International Soup and Chowder Fest
Saturday, 5:30 - 7:30 pm Sample a taste of tradition,
served up by eateries in and around Newmarket. Cost: Adults, $7; children, $3. (Cost covers
three cups of soup.) Proceeds to benefit the Newmarket Main Street
Corporation, producers of the Newmarket Heritage Festival. Main
tent. FIREFIGHTERS Breakfast
Sunday, 10-12 Pancakes and scrambled eggs, sausage and
bacon, home fries—and more. Cost: Adults, $6; children 3-12, $3;
under 3 free. Proceeds to benefit the Newmarket Firefighters
Association. Main tent. Community Church SupperSunday, 5-7 Gather for a turkey dinner with all the fixin's! Or get it to go for easy transport to the Main Tent. Donations accepted. Proceeds to benefit the Community Church. Church Vestry.
