Why we need your help

The three-day festival takes place in Newmarket's historic downtown mill district overlooking the Lamprey River and features multi-cultural music and dance, artisan demonstrations, narrated walking tours, scenic boat rides, interactive children's activities and learning opportunities, fine arts and crafts, vendor booths, international foods, and more. Admission to the festival costs just $5 for the entire weekend. (Children under 12 are free.) However, these admission fees do not come close to covering the costs of producing the festival, which include hiring performers, artisans, and sound engineers, as well as the expense of stages, tents, and more.

Produced by the Newmarket Main Street Corporation. Rooted in the diversity of Newmarket's past and present, the Newmarket Heritage Festival is produced by the Newmarket Main Street Corporation (NMSC), a nonprofit group dedicated to strengthening and revitalizing the historic and cultural characteristics of the community and to preserving the legacy of Newmarket for future generations. The NMSC is a 501 (c) (3) organization.
